Well, we discussed it over breakfast this morning and everyone was pretty much ready to head back home. A quick look at the weather backed up the decision as well: Clear & nice today with a strong cold front bringing storms tomorrow.
When we got back to the rooms, we packed up our stuff for the trip home. I counted and we moved our bags 11 times today: Hotel -> golf cart -> lobby -> taxi -> ferry -> taxi -> FBO -> plane -> US customs -> plane -> truck -> home. Whew --I need some Motrin!
Aside from the nusaince of moving our bags so much, everything went pretty smoothly. We had an easy time getting cabs & the ferry and sailed through customs & immigration on both ends. Plus, we had nice weather for the flight. We even got home in time to catch the Lightning / Ottawa game at the Forum (we won!).
We had a great time in the Bahamas again this year, but it is nice to be home. I am looking forward to laying down in my own bed tonight (soon!).
